Oregon Consensus History

More than 25 years of service

Since 1989, Oregon Consensus and its predecessor, the Oregon Dispute Resolution Commission, have provided thousands of Oregon community members, non-government groups and government agencies with conflict resolution and policy development services. The Legislature established Oregon Consensus in the neutral setting of Portland State University to advance the use of collaborative problem solving to conserve public resources and preserve relationships. Oregon Consensus is partially funded by the Legislature. Additional funding comes from grants and service agreements with project participants.
