Oregon Community Dispute Resolution Centers Rulemaking

signature_iStock_000016957065XSmallIn 2004, Oregon Consensus facilitated a collaborative process to assist the University of Oregon’s Office for Community Dispute Resolution in developing administrative rules governing the allocation of grants to counties for community dispute resolution services. The project’s charter was:

“To develop concepts for administrative rules related to grant funding under ORS 36.155 by early fall 2006”

The Oregon Office for Community Dispute Resolution provides trained volunteers who mediate disputes between community members. The program currently supports 17 community dispute resolution centers in 25 Oregon counties through:
