Collaborative project costs
Project participants usually develop agreements to share the cost of Oregon Consensus services among the participants. Often, the government agency that initiated the collaborative project covers a significant share of the costs. Oregon Consensus does receive some legislative funding that can defray the cost of services for organizations that lack financial resources.
Land Use Board of Appeals mediation costs
Participants in Land Use Board of Appeals mediations also share the costs. However, Oregon Consensus receives grants from the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development that significantly reduce these mediation costs.
Contact us to discuss funding options for the project. Oregon Consensus develops an estimated project budget that the group will modify and formalize before Oregon Consensus begins work. Oregon Consensus works closely with participants to help them arrange funding, to design a process that is as cost-effective as possible, and to keep the project on track and within budget.
