In 2007, Oregon Consensus worked with the Department of Education to assist in the formation and facilitation of an advisory committee to provide input into the selection of a Director for the Oregon School for the Deaf (OSD). The advisory committee, composed of representatives of School Districts, Regional Programs, OSD parents, students, staff, alumni, and related community groups developed recommendations regarding candidate criteria, recruitment strategy, and hiring process.
