In the Fall of 2023, in conjunction with Oregon Consensus’ overall process support for implementation of Oregon Landscape Resiliency Strategy (OLRS), OC staff helped federal and state partner agencies (Oregon Department of Forestry; Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife; Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board; Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board; U.S. Forest Service; Natural Resource Conservation Services; and the Bureau of Land Management) organize, plan, convene and facilitate the inaugural OLRS Summit on November 1-2, 2023.
The Summit was well-attended by federal, state and local government officials as well as organizations, businesses, and collaboratives with an interest in forest and rangeland restoration and resiliency. Governor Kotek provided the in-person opening address.
Summit materials can be found on the Oregon Department of Forestry website.
